Freight-World recently imported a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Trailer from America for a local client. The size of the RV Trailer was double the size of a 40’HC container and as a result there were very limited options for what would typically be a Roll-On-Roll-Off (RORO) shipment.

Our team came up with an elegant solution; to pack the trailer on a special flat rack, so that the client could receive their cargo within a serviceable turnaround time. Our team ensured it was packed safely and securely, with custom fitted bracing and intricate placement of lashings so that the cargo remained unscathed. In the end we saved the client over USD $25,000 of freighting costs over the cheapest available RORO option. It arrived in Melbourne in pristine condition and was released to our client for their personal use.

Freight-World recently imported a shipment of trophies and memorabilia for a major international sporting competition in Melbourne. Due to the current issues in China this urgent cargo was only available for export until only a few days before the final, and there were limited options for direct flights to Melbourne.
